Rachel believes in a collaborative approach to treatment, so she is committed to find an individualized plan for each patient. Her goal is to find a treatment approach that best fits with where the patient is at, understanding that medications may not be the right fit for everyone.

About Rachel

Rachel completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Philadelphia University. Once completing school, she became a nationally board certified physician assistant and licensed to practice medicine by the North Carolina Medical Board. 

Rachel relocated to the Charlotte area and started working on an inpatient psychiatric unit. While she enjoyed being a part of the hospital team, Rachel also found she enjoyed practicing on the outpatient unit as she get’s to spend more time building a relationship with each patient. 

She has experience working with behavioral health patient’s that are inpatient, outpatient, in intensive outpatient programs, and for emergency psychiatric evaluations.

As a provider that believes all systems are linked, mentally and physically, she enjoys keeping up-to-date in all areas of medicine. Rachel also believes in the importance of ongoing education and for this reason precepts physician assistant students from several universities.

National Speaker | Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies
Rachel was one of the first seven trained speakers in the country, and the only PA, for Abilify MyCite system marketed by Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. In 2023, she was also added to the speaker’s bureau for Rexulti.

National Speaker | AbbVie
Rachel is a highly sought after national speaker for AbbVe Pharmaceuticals. She has given over 200 presentations for AbbVe on Vraylar for the treatment of bipolar disorder and adjunctive major depression. In 2023, she was selected as the only PA faculty speaker for assisting in training over 600 fellow medical prescribers.
